Mr. Hamed Wardak Worked together With Mr. David Etchart

Hamed Wardak has worked together David Etchart.  Mr. Etchart was the Senior Vice President with dck Worldwide.  Before that, he was the Vice-President at Contingency Operations with Fluor Corporation’s Government Group.

In total, Mr. Etchart has 25 years of experience managing the construction of large industrial and power plants.  He is a native of Oregon and he has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Oregon.

New Maternity Hospital in Paktia

The Bayat Foundation, Gardez (Afghanistan’s eastern province of Paktia) recently inaugurated the Gawhar Taj Bayat, a new maternity hospital.  There was an official ceremony marking the inauguration, which was attended by Afghan parliamentary members, local officials and Juma Khan Hamdard, governor of Paktia.  The facility contains: “20 beds, a delivery room, pre-operating and operating rooms, recovery room, a pharmacy, laboratory, modern equipment, examination room, waiting area, offices, with modern plumbing and modern electrical standards throughout the entire building.”  The hope is that this will make specialized care available to the locals.

Afghanistan Witnesses Additional School Buildings

Paktya, Afghanistan’s eastern province, recently saw the inauguration of 15 school buildings. These were constructed in: Aryoub Zazi, Chamkani, Dand-e-Patan, Jani and Khel.  It was India, America, the World Bank and the Afghan government which provided funding for these essential projects.  Hamed Wardak is an Afghan-American activist supporting causes to benefit the people of Afghanistan and improve relations between its citizens and those in America.
